Cave Dwelling
We drive by Caves every day and the sign for La Caverna always catches my eye however, to date I had never been but this evening that all has changed and I have found a new favourite in Nassau. With friends, kids and dog in tow we dove right into La Caverna.............The Cave!
The owner Giorgio is hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly as is the Italian named waiter, Giovanni (who is actually Bahamian). We felt right at home and treated like regulars.
We started with an insanely delicious dry martini with a side of fritto misto served with a chutney tomato style dipping sauce that was sweet and very tasty.
There is a wide selection of pastas, pizzas and salads as well as fresh local fish served up daily.
Pizza Pie
If you are in the neighbourhood take a turn into the Caves and dive right in!
