Remembering the late, great Anthony Bourdain!

Today’s menu was created using inspirations taken from Anthony Bourdain.  His favorite family go to meal was linguine vongole so we started with that dish and built the rest of the menu around it.

The second course, Garlicky Shrimp and Escargot stuffed mushrooms is a tribute to France since that is where he was during his last days. 

We hope that he has found his peace as he will be truly missed in the culinary and travel world.

Shrimp and Escargot

How I manage to convince my husband to hand carry back individual cooking pans from Italy I will never understand but I am always truly grateful to him.

These little pans are the perfect vessel for an appetizer size portion filled with succulent shrimp and earthy escargot. The more garlic and butter the better!
