Let’s go behind the scenes!

Thursday has always been my Friday as I seem to jump the fun gun in anticipation of the weekend ahead.  Yesterday was no exception.  A few cosmos under my belt and I am putty! Combine that with a bowl of pasta and I am in carb heaven!

The Chefs at the Captains Table kindly opened up their kitchen to us and a few others to show and share techniques and recipes using their products from the store next door, while simultaneously the bar was open for instructions in the art of Cosmopolitan making!  What fun spent with new friends and old on a random Thursday night!

Thank you to all the lovely ladies and gents that came out to wine and dine with us and a big thanks to Karen,  the chefs and staff at the Captains Table.

When did a Cosmo go out of fashion? NEVER!!!!!

"The exact origin of the Cosmopolitan is fuzzy at best, mostly because until the late '80s it was a similar drink that went by a different name. ... The Harpoon called for an ounce of vodka, an ounce of cranberry and a squeeze of lime, close to the Cosmo recipe, but still missing the sweet Cointreau."

Join us at the Captains Table next week Thursday, October 26th for COSMOS and CARBS!!!!
